Details
Figma is a design tool that runs in the browser, built for live collaboration: share a link to a design file and others can view and edit it at the same time, cursors labelled with names, comments pinned anywhere on the canvas. It spans interface design, whiteboarding (FigJam), slides and developer handoff (Dev Mode), and keeps version history automatically. Pricing, plainly: a free plan exists with limits on projects and files — enough for learning and small-scale collaboration — while team seats and organisation management are paid. We file it under office tools because it long ago outgrew designers: product managers prototype in it and marketers lay out graphics with it too.
Who it's for
Product managers, UI designers and front-end developers; teams that need many hands on one interface draft or prototype.

“Listing notes: its biggest convenience is sending a link instead of a file — no more exporting version eighteen into the group chat. The free plan is plenty for practice and personal projects; consider paid seats when a team settles in.”
