Web-Check is an open-source OSINT checkup tool for websites (MIT, about 35k GitHub stars, checked 2026-11-04). Enter a URL and it runs dozens of public checks in parallel — DNS records, server location and IP, SSL certificates, domain WHOIS, HTTP security headers, tech stack, cookies and archive history — then rolls them into one browsable, exportable report with security notes. Two ways to use it: the author-maintained hosted demo, which needs no install, or a self-hosted Docker copy where you control the checks and access. It only assembles public information and performs no intrusive probing; get authorisation and check the compliance boundary before digging deep into someone else’s site.
