Arc chain dashboard: TVL vs stablecoin supply on twin trend lines — has the money arrived, and has it entered DeFi?

Fetching Arc TVL and stablecoin data…
Details
Arc's money picture on one page: the Circle-built stablecoin-native chain's total value locked in DeFi protocols (TVL) and its on-chain stablecoin circulating supply, both as history curves from DeFiLlama, shown side by side — with current values, the supply-to-TVL ratio, 7-day and 30-day changes in amount and percent, and the supply split by peg currency (USD, EUR, GBP and others). The verdict card at the top translates the ratio into one sentence: when supply runs at roughly twice TVL, the money has bridged in but mostly sits in wallets instead of protocols. The calibers, stated plainly: TVL counts only funds inside DeFi protocols, not idle bridged stablecoins in wallets; stablecoin supply is the chain's total circulating stablecoins converted to USD across peg currencies — the two measure different things and cannot simply be subtracted. Arc is a young chain: TVL history starts in May 2026 with an early zero stretch (trimmed from the chart) and stablecoin history starts in mid-September 2026, so samples are still short. Data comes from DeFiLlama's public APIs and is re-fetched every 10 minutes. Not investment advice.

18btc Crypto Tools Navigator · Our Take
“Money first, apps later is the normal state of a young stablecoin chain: Arc's stablecoin supply currently runs at roughly twice its DeFi TVL — most of what bridged in is still sitting in wallets, not yet put to work by lending or trading protocols. For now the ratio is an observation gauge, not a trading signal: the ecosystem has really started when supply rises and TVL rises with it.”
